Shreeparni in Gujarati is called Sevan, in Hindi Khumar, in Sanskrit is called Shreeparni and in Marathi Shivan. Shreeparni is as pure ancient as Tulsi and Peepal tree. In ancient Puranas it is told that in Shreeparni trees there is presence of Laxmiji. Shreeparni is the favourite tree planted by people in their home.
